Problem to be solved: to describe a press working apparatus and a method of manufacturing a metal product capable of speeding up the processing speed of the metal plate.An example of the press working apparatus may include a transmission mechanism configured to intermittently convey a strip of metal plate along its longitudinal direction and a positioning pin which can be inserted into and removed from the positioning hole formed in the metal plate.The positioning pin may be displaced between the advance position where the tip end of the positioning pin is advanced and the retracted position where the tip end of the positioning pin is retracted.The tip of the positioning pin may be displaced to the advancing position before it is inserted into the positioning hole and is displaced to the retracted position before it comes out of the positioning hole.Diagram
