The invention concerns a front plate for a rail coupling head with a plate-shaped base body with a front and a rear facing away from the front;with a coupling pin facing the front side and a coupling opening positioned in a top view of the front side next to the coupling pin to accommodate a coupling cone of a similar front plate; where the front plate is mounted with the back of a coupling head housing for removable attachment.The inventive front plate is characterized by the fact that the base body is cast in one part with the coupling cone.
