A wide-frequency-band complex-type frequency agile signal generation system based on baseband frequency mixing. The system comprises a baseband agile unit, a frequency mixing agile unit, an agile local oscillation unit and a universal platform unit, wherein the baseband agile unit is connected to the frequency mixing agile unit; the frequency mixing agile unit is connected to the agile local oscillation unit; and the baseband agile unit, the frequency mixing agile unit and the agile local oscillation unit are all connected to the universal platform unit. By means of a mechanism integrating programmable baseband agility and multi-stage frequency mixing agility, a wide-band complex-modulation-type frequency agile electromagnetic signal is generated within a signal simulation frequency band range. Since the frequency mixing mode is used, signal straying can be fundamentally reduced, and the signal quality is thus improved. By using the multi-stage frequency mixing agile mode, a stray deterioration situation is obviously alleviated, such that signal frequency agility within a frequency coverage range from 10 MHz to 40 GHz can be realized.
