Provided are: an asphalt mixture having excellent transportability and workability at a low temperature (for example, at 100 °C or lower); and an application thereof. The asphalt mixture includes: an aspha an aggregate; at least one carboxylic acid compound selected from the group consisting of an aliphatic carboxylic acid and an aliphatic carboxylic acid ester; water; and an alkaline compound, wherein at least one selected from the group consisting of the carboxylic acid compound, the water, and the alkaline compound is encapsulated in a microcapsule.
