The present invention relates to the endogenous inhibitor LGALS3BP of Transforming growth factor-β-activated kinase 1 and uses thereof. When using the composition, inflammatory disease model mouse and method of the present invention, it is possible to inhibit TAK1 kinase activity, prevent or treat inflammatory diseases, and inhibit the expression of inflammatory cytokines in cells in vitro.
