PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire detection system that can be manufactured of relatively simple components but achieve high level accuracy.SOLUTION: An infrared emission fire detector 10 includes a curved support surface 12, and a plurality of infrared emission sensors 14 arranged on the support surface 12. Each sensor 14 includes a plane array of infrared emission detector elements which has each view direction SD and a secured angular field β defined around each view direction SD and defines a field of view with respect to the sensor 14. The view directions SD of the sensors 14 intersect with each other at a center point. The sensors 14 are spaced apart from each other by only a predetermined angular distance with respect to the center point. The secured angular fields β of the sensors 14 have the same narrow width, and the fields of view of the sensors 14 do not intersect with each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
