Disclosed are a freezing-prevention protection method and apparatus for an air conditioner, and an air conditioner. The method comprises: acquiring the current coil pipe temperature of an air conditioner; when an absolute value of the difference between the current coil pipe temperature and a preset freezing-prevention protection temperature is less than a first set value, increasing the wind speed of a fan to a second wind speed from a first wind speed, determining the difference between the acquired current return air temperature and the current coil pipe temperature to be a first superheating degree, and saving the first superheating degree; and when the fan runs at the second wind speed, determining the difference between the acquired current return air temperature and the current coil pipe temperature to be a second superheating degree, and when an absolute value of the superheating difference between the first superheating degree and the second superheating degree is greater than a second set value, adjusting a preset freezing-prevention protection temperature and performing freezing-prevention protection running according to the adjusted preset freezing-prevention protection temperature. Accordingly, the accuracy of freezing-prevention protection of an air conditioner can be improved.
