The invention relates to a method for producing new concrete structures (1) or for retrofitting, in that profiles (5) made of a superelastic shape-memory alloy are formed in a surface by means of which they can functionally engage an adjoining hardened covering (7) or construction material by means of claw and/or a tooth elements, wherein the superelastic shape-memory alloy can change between an austenitic and a martensitic phase in the event of spontaneous occurrence of the induced mechanical stress and subsequent relief via crystalline transformation, exclusively by said tension and relief, and the profiles (5) are arranged in or on the concrete structure (1), and a covering (7) or construction material is subsequently applied or filled in, thus enclosing the profiles (5), such that forces can be absorbed by the concrete structure (1) and/or transmitted thereto via the profile surface functionally engaging the subsequently hardened covering (7) or construction material. The invention also relates to a concrete structure (1) which is produced or retrofitted in this way.
