A centerline correction device according to an embodiment corrects the centerline of a path that is a travelable area in an indoor space or outdoor space, and that is acquired from shape information about the indoor space or road shape information about the outdoor space. This centerline correction device is provided with a centerline correction unit which performs: a center point extraction process for extracting the center points of segments of centerlines; a centerline correction process for, on the basis of the extracted center points, moving each centerline such that a distance to a boundary of an original shape coincides with the center of the centerline; and an unwanted centerline deletion process for deleting unwanted ones of the moved centerlines.
