The present disclosure relates to halogen-free flame retardant polycarbonate/thermoplastic polyester molding compositions having improved mechanical properties and increased polyester loading levels. More specifically, the present disclosure relates to a halogen-free polycarbonate/thermoplastic polyester resin alloy having a polymeric phosphorus flame retardant additive and a siloxane impact modifier. Also included are methods of making such compositions and articles derived therefrom.
