P2P Network based Verifiable Random Number Generation Method and System using Periodic Seeder Inheritance

A method and system for generating a verifiable random number based on a p2p network using periodic seeder factorization are provided. In a random number generation method according to an embodiment of the present invention, a seed of a random number is generated, network participants verify the generated seed, and network participants generate a random number based on the verified seed. Accordingly, in a p2p network such as a distributed computing environment, a plurality of nodes intervene in generating a random number to enable verification and to generate a random number that cannot be predicted at the same time.
