A fast installation and adjustment method for an Offner-type spectral imaging optical system. The Offner-type spectral imaging optical system is a concentric or near concentric optical system, that is, a primary mirror (7), convex grating (5), and prism (8) thereof are all spherical surfaces, and respective centers of curvature overlap or basically overlap. On the basis of the principle of auto-collimation, the position of the center of curvature of a spherical mirror is quickly determined by observing an auto-collimated image obtained after a point light source is reflected by the spherical mirror. The installation and adjustment method has the characteristics of fast installation and adjustment, high precision, low requirements for installation and adjustment environment, and low equipment costs, and the installation and adjustment of the Offner-type spectral imaging optical system can be completed quickly and effectively.
