A method by which a new drug repurposing candidate selection apparatus selects a new drug repurposing candidate, in one embodiment, comprises the steps of: acquiring, within a predetermined period range, clinical indicator values obtained before/after exposure to predetermined drugs for each of a plurality of patients; calculating a change in the clinical indicator values obtained before/after exposure to the predetermined drugs for each acquired clinical indicator; calculating the total number of exposed drugs by including the predetermined drugs for each of the plurality of patients; correcting the calculated change for each of the plurality of patients by using the total number of calculated drugs or weight per drug; determining, on the basis of the corrected change, effects that exclude the predesignated effects of the predetermined drug; and acquiring a ranking for having a high probability of new drug repurposing by using, individually, or combining the effects of the drugs.
