The invention relates to a method for determining at least one item of object information about at least one target object (18) sensed by means of a radar system (12), in particular of a vehicle (10), to a radar system (12), and to a driver assistance system (20). In the method, transmission signals (32a, 32b, 32c) are transmitted into a monitoring region (14) of the radar system (12) by means of three transmitters (Tx1, Tx2, Tx3). Echoes of the transmission signals (32a, 32b, 32c) reflected at the target object (18) are received as reception signals (34a, 34b, 34c) by means of at least two receivers (RxA, RxB, RxC, RxD). The reception signals (34a, 34b, 34c) are subjected to at least one multi-dimensional discrete Fourier transform. At least one target signal is determined from the result of the Fourier transform. An item of object information is determined from the target signal. On the transmitter side, a first transmission signal (32a), a second transmission signal (32b) and a third transmission signal (32c) are generated from a frequency-modulated continuous-wave signal. The second transmission signal (32b) and the third transmission signal (32c) are coded with respect to one another and with respect to the first transmission signal (32a) by means of phase modulations, so that an at least temporary signals orthogonality between the transmission signals (32a, 32b, 32c) is achieved. The transmission signals (32a, 32b, 32c) are transmitted simultaneously into the monitoring region (14) of the radar system (12) by means of respective transmitters (Tx1, Tx2, Tx3).
