A vessel for natural gas hydrate (NGH) transportation is disclosed. The ship includes a hull formed from solid NGH and a skeletal structure for supporting the hull. Also disclosed is a container for transporting NGH comprising a block of solid NGH and a skeletal structure that supports the block. In addition, a method of manufacturing a ship for transportation and storage of natural gas hydrate (NGH) is also disclosed. The method includes the following steps: preparation of the mold, placement of the skin layer in the mold, assembly of the skeletal structure in the mold, preparation of the NGH slurry, injection of the NGH slurry into the mold.
