PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a 3-pulse PWM control method for a three-phase inverter. SOLUTION: A square wave signal having a fundamental frequency of an output wave of a three-phase inverter and a triangular wave having twice the frequency synchronized with the fundamental wave are used as a carrier, and a signal compared with a reference input signal for controlling the magnitude of the fundamental wave component. By generating an exclusive logical sum signal with the two signals as inputs as a PWM switching signal for one phase, and generating a PWM switching signal having a phase difference of 120 degrees for each of the remaining two phases in the same configuration. It enables 3-pulse PWM control for each phase. [Selection diagram] Fig. 2
