PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a landing gear deploying device for an aircraft, which can perform deploying and shock-absorbing of a landing gear of the aircraft with a simpler configuration.;SOLUTION: A landing gear deploying device 1 for an aircraft has an expansion and contraction mechanism 3 and a motor 4. The expansion and contraction mechanism is connected to a landing gear 2A of the aircraft to deploy and store the landing gear and absorb a shock on the landing gear. The motor expands and contracts the expansion and contraction mechanism. In a method of deploying a landing gear of an aircraft, deployment and storage of the landing gear and shock-absorbing of the landing gear are performed using the landing gear deploying device for the aircraft.
