ROBOTIZED CELL TO PREPARE AND DELIVER HANDMADE ICE CREAM IN PORTIONS AUTOMATICALLY

A robotic cell for preparing and delivering homemade ice cream in an automatic way comprises a robot (1) which performs manipulations at several stations (4,9,6). Ice trays (36) containing bulk ice are placed on supports, on a guided circuit. A scanning laser detector (32) can scan an ice bin at a 3D profilometry station (4) to identify the morphology of a residual volume of ice (30) in the bin. This information is then sent (43) to a computer (10) to define the trajectories of a portioner tool (13) of the robot. The ice taken by the robot at a portioning station (9) is deposited in a cone which is then delivered to the user at a dispensing station (6). The cell can be installed in a van, a kiosk or at an artisan ice cream parlor. Figure for the abstract: Figure 10
