The method comprises: at a mobile device, obtaining first information from stored data (201); receiving second information, wherein the second information is obtained by a vehicle-mounted device of a vehicle, and the vehicle is associated with the mobile device (202); in response to determining that at least one piece of information of the first information and the second information is associated with the traveling of the vehicle within a future predetermined time range (203), transmitting the at least one piece of information of the first information and the second information to a server (204); receiving insurance information associated with the transmitted at least one piece of information from the server (205); and presenting the received insurance information (206). Before a user drives a vehicle for a trip, the method can automatically provide accurate insurance information associated with the trip for the user, thereby simplifying a user operation and improving the self-driving trip experience of the user.
