A replacement or cleaning reminding system for an air filter screen for an air purification device. The system comprises an air inlet, an air filter screen and an air outlet. The system further comprises a concentration measurement unit, a wind speed measurement unit, a storage unit, a comparison unit and a reminding unit, wherein the concentration measurement unit and the wind speed measurement unit are both arranged at the air outlet; the concentration measurement unit is in signal connection with the comparison unit; one end of the wind speed measurement unit is in signal connection with the storage unit, and the end of the wind speed measurement unit is further in signal connection with the comparison unit; the other end of the storage unit is in signal connection with the comparison unit; and the other end of the comparison unit is in signal connection with the reminding unit. No calculation is required during the measurement process, thereby improving the degree of acceptance of a measurement result. Different reminding modes are provided for different filter screens, that is, the service life of a medium-filtering-type filter screen can be measured by means of changes in the wind speed, and the service life of a gas filter screen or an electrostatic precipitation filter screen can also be measured by means of changes in the concentration.
