A flexible display screen manufacturing method and a flexible display screen on a temporary substrate (50) to be peeled, relating to the technical field of displays. The flexible display screen manufacturing method comprises: providing a temporary substrate (50); forming, on the temporary substrate (50), a sacrificial layer (40) and a support film layer sequentially stacked, wherein the support film layer comprises at least one hardening coating; forming, on the hardening coating, a flexible substrate (10) and a light-emitting layer (20) sequentially stacked; and removing the sacrificial layer (40), and peeling off the temporary substrate (50). In this method, the hardening coating is provided between the sacrificial layer (40) and the flexible substrate (10) such that after the temporary substrate (50) is peeled off, a back protective film does not need to be adhered by means of a pressure sensitive adhesive (90) to support the flexible substrate (10). The hardening coating supports the flexible substrate (10) and film layers thereabove. In addition, the hardening coating is thin, thus reducing the overall thickness of a flexible display screen, and reducing or eliminating the possibility of a display to failing because of concentrated stresses on the flexible display screen when folded or rolled.
