A method for transmitting a message through an opportunistic routing protocol for information-centric networking comprises the steps of: defining each divided cluster as a network community and receiving a community ID in a divided network environment of an ICN divided into cluster units; upon contact between nodes, comparing summary vectors containing message information possessed by each of the nodes; classifying types of contact nodes into one of a gateway node, a cluster node, and a data mule node; using a first delivery prediction rate with a data storage node, a second delivery prediction rate to contact a requesting node that has generated an interest message, and a third delivery prediction rate to contact a community node, comparing message delivery conditions according to the relationship between the contact nodes; and determining whether to transmit a message to the contact nodes according to the relationship between the contact nodes by comparing hop-count conditions.
