PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pet toy such as a cat jarashi which can be attached to and detached from a pedestal with a simple configuration and a base used for the pet toy. SOLUTION: A pet toy has a base 1 attached to and detached from a pedestal B into which a rod-shaped member can be inserted at an arbitrary position, a stick-shaped member 2 fixed to the base 1 and swinging, and a stick-shaped member. It has a target 3 fixed to 2 and watched by a pet. The base 1 has a base portion 11 that is superposed on the pedestal B, and a plurality of rod-shaped anchor portions 12 that project from the base portion 11 and are inserted into the pedestal B. In the base 1, the surface of the anchor portion 12 is a smooth surface, and the surface of the tubular portion 13 is a rough surface. The anchor portion 12 has a rod-shaped pile portion 121 having a flat surface 121a. The anchor portion 12 has a rib 122 projecting from the flat surface 121a of the pile portion 121.
