A cationically moisture-induced curable composition comprises at least one cationically polymerizable component (A) and at least one moisture-latent initiator for the cationic polymerization (B), the polymerizable component (A) containing an aliphatic epoxide in a proportion of at least 10% by weight, based on the total weight of the mass. In addition, the moisture-latent initiator (B) releases a hydrolysis product under the action of moisture, which has a pKs less than 0. Furthermore, a process for gluing, casting, molding or coating substrates and the use of the compound is shown.
