The present invention relates to a method for producing silicone substrates or silicone composite substrates, in which at least one silane selected from the group consisting of alkoxysilanes, hydroxysilanes and mixtures thereof is provided, at least one liquid oligosiloxane by sol-gel reaction from the at least a silane is produced, a first crosslinking reaction is carried out in which at least partial crosslinking of the at least one oligosiloxane takes place to form a silicone material, and a second crosslinking reaction is carried out in which further crosslinking of the silicone material takes place in at least a partial area of the silicone material, the the first crosslinking reaction and the second crosslinking reaction are mutually orthogonal.
