The present disclosure relates to a method and apparatus for regenerative braking control of an electric vehicle, and specifically, a vehicle controller that comprehensively controls vehicle driving and electric power systems in a micro electric vehicle using electric power, and input/output signals of various subsystems installed in the vehicle. It relates to a regenerative braking control method and apparatus for performing regenerative braking and braking control in consideration. The regenerative braking control method and apparatus according to the embodiment includes the regenerative braking control method and apparatus of a micro electric vehicle. Regenerative braking is performed to maximize regenerative braking by adjusting the pressure of the vacuum pump in a micro electric vehicle.
