An object of the present invention is to provide a method for producing a metal-carbon fiber reinforced resin material (CFRP) composite and a metal-CFRP composite, which are excellent in adhesion and adhesion durability at a member interface. The metal-CFRP composite according to the present invention includes a metal member, a CFRP layer, and one or two film layers provided between the metal member and the CFRP layer. When the film layer is composed of one layer, the film layer is a film layer containing an isocyanate group, and the matrix resin contains a phenoxy resin as a main component, contains an epoxy group, and is an interface between the CFRP layer and the film layer. It has a bond shown in (Structural Formula 1) in the vicinity. When the film layer is composed of two layers, the first film layer located on the metal member side is a film layer containing an isocyanate group, and the second film layer located on the CFRP layer side is mainly composed of an epoxy resin.
