The present invention relates to a head-up display apparatus using speech recognition technology for vehicles, the apparatus recognizing guidance speech of a navigation system and displaying same as images. Speech is recognized after subtracting passenger speech signals obtained by beam-forming in the direction of a passenger, thereby raising speech recognition rates and allowing speech to be replayed through the speakers to allow management of speech recognition errors.
