PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a configuration which allows a user to easily grasp information that should be notified of by notifying of information in a language specified with language specification information recorded in a recording medium.SOLUTION: A reading apparatus 20 is configured to read a country code 73 from a recording medium 70. A host apparatus 50 comprises: a memory 52 which stores a plurality of pieces of notification information in respective languages in association with corresponding country codes 73; and a control part 51 which selects the notification information in a language associated with the country code 73 transmitted from the reading apparatus 20. The host apparatus 50 includes a printer 56 which notifies of information that should be notified by using the notification information in the language selected by the control part 51.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
