NATURAL LANGUAGE QUERY HANDLING IN MULTI-DOMAIN SYSTEMS

Systems and methods for responding to a natural language query are disclosed. A query for an entity associated with a plurality of content types is received via a user interface of a computing device. The query lacks specification of any of the plurality of content types. A primary content type is selected from among the plurality of content types, based on content types of content items that are associated with the entity and available from a content source. A response to the query is generated comprising a list of identifiers of a plurality of the content items that are associated with the entity and have the primary content type. The response also comprises a list of one or more identifiers of one or more additional content types, respectively, associated with the entity. The response to the query is provided for visible or audible presentation via the computing device.
