Method of desulphurisation of aqueous multi-phase mixtures of water and sulphur-containing organic substances and non-water-soluble substances, characterized by the fact that negatively charged sulphur occurs in a reaction that occurs simultaneously in the aqueous and with the aid of sulphur halides and bases, it is converted into elementary sulphur which can be separated from the mixture as a solid.
