PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving method of a ball screw enabling sufficient and smooth lubrication with grease, on a contact surface of a screw shaft and a nut member and each ball, even under a use state where operation stroke is extremely small.;SOLUTION: In a parison thickness adjustment mechanism of a hollow molding machine, a die of an extrusion head and a core inserted into the die constitutes a discharge port, and a thickness of a parison is adjusted by lifting the core with a ball screw. A regular lifting stroke of the core is set less than a rotary movement amount of one rotation of each ball in the ball screw.
