A composite energy spectrum CT imaging method, comprising: in a scanning process and by means of a high voltage generator, switching between low voltage and high voltage according to an assigned frequency, so as to obtain composite scanning data; performing image reconstruction on low voltage scanning data and high voltage scanning data to obtain a low voltage image and a high voltage image; and carrying out image domain material decomposition on the reconstructed low voltage image and the reconstructed high voltage image to obtain base material images. The method is implemented on the basis of a traditional CT system, the speed of voltage switching may be regulated according to the conditions of existing hardware, and no modifications need to be performed on the hardware. Therefore, the implementation cost is extremely low. Because of the reduction of the switching speed, the voltage may keep the stability the same as that of monoenergetic scanning, and therefore, no special calibration is needed. The method has the advantages of being low in cost, easy to implement, high in energy separation and low in dosage.
