PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airtightness test method for a hydrogen station capable of reducing a manufacturing cost and downsizing of an apparatus and suppressing a sudden increase in pressure in an airtightness test of a gas filling system. SOLUTION: A gas including an accumulator 3, a gas pipe 6 connected to the accumulator 3, an outlet valve 8 provided in a path of the gas pipe 6, and a flow rate adjusting valve 10 on the downstream side of the outlet valve 8. In the hydrogen station having the filling system 1, the first pressure equalizing step of opening and closing the outlet valve 8 to equalize the pressure on the upstream side and the downstream side of the outlet valve 8 in the gas pipe 6 and opening and closing the flow rate adjusting valve 10 are performed. The second pressure equalizing step of equalizing the pressure on the upstream side and the downstream side of the flow rate adjusting valve 10 in the gas pipe 6 is performed one or more times in this order to pressurize the inside of the gas pipe 6 and check for gas leakage.
