The invention concerns a method of operating a conveyor dosing system (10) for a fluid (1),where the fluid (1) is preferably a reducing agent for exhaust aftertreatment. The conveyor dosing system (10) is designed to provide a pump (2) to support the fluid (1) and a dosing device (3),which is connected to the pump (2) via a pressure line (4) fluidized. In addition, a flow pressure of the fluid (1) in the pressure line (4) should be controlled psoll via the pump (2). However, instead of regulating a time-constant flow pressure psoll for such systems, preferably dynamically, the flow pressure value psoll changes depending on the operation of the dosing device (3). In other words, the procedure is based on a dynamic set value,which varies depending on the operation of the dosing device (3). Furthermore, the invention concerns an appropriate conveyor dosing system (10) and a motor vehicle (20) with such a conveyor dosing system (10).
