The present invention concerns a turning machine (12) for working parts, comprising a machine bed (14),a working spindle (16),a spindle drive unit (18) for driving the spindle (16) which is stored in a machine bed rotating around a spindle axis (AS) rotating in the machine bed (14),a borehole unit (26) fixed to or attached to the machine bed (14) for the production of deep bores with at least one bore feed rotating around a deep bore axis (AT) (28) for the recording of a deep bore (29);a deep-bore drive unit (30) to drive the feed (28),and a routing device (32) for the drilling feed procedure (28) along the borehole axis (AT) between a base position and a working position. Furthermore, the invention concerns a deep bore unit (26) for the production of deep bores as such.
