A servo steering assembly includes a first housing containing a snail wheel functionally coupled to a steering shaft, with the snail wheel rotating around a snail axle. The servo steering assembly also includes a second housing containing an electric motor and a screw so arranged that it intervenes in the screw wheel. The servo steering assembly also comprises a snail wheel wheel bearing located between the snail wheel and an inner surface of the first housing, with the snail wheel wheel bearing protruding from the second housing to position the first housing relative to the snail wheel axis.
