To provide a currency processing system, a currency processing machine, a currency change machine, and a currency processing method capable of preventing an operator from forgetting to mount one or more storage cassettes among a plurality of storage cassettes on the currency processing machine even when a plurality of storage cassettes are used in collection processing for collecting currency from the currency change machine, and for inputting the currency to the currency processing machine, and preventing miscalculation from occurring in the currency processing machine thereby.SOLUTION: A currency processing system 10 is configured such that storage cassettes 40 are respectively mounted on currency change machines 20 and a currency teller machine 30 (currency processing machine) so as to be freely attachable and detachable, and provided with determination means 50 for, when a plurality of storage cassettes 40 are used in collection processing, determining whether or not currency has been sent from all the storage cassettes 40 to which currency has been sent from the insides of the currency change machines 20 to the inside of the currency teller machine 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
