PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a non-halogen flame-retardant resin composition capable of exhibiting elongation characteristics and cold resistance even when a metal hydroxide having a large amount of fatty acid treatment is used, a method for producing an insulated wire, and a method for producing a cable.;SOLUTION: There is provided a method for producing a non-halogen flame-retardant resin composition in which 170 pts.mass of a metal hydroxide treated with a fatty acid is added based on 100 pts.mass of a base polymer containing 1 pts.mass or more and 30 pts.mass or less of an acid-modified polyolefin resin that contains an ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer having a vinyl acetate content of 50 mass% or less as a main component and has a glass transition point of -55°C or lower. The metal hydroxide treated with the fatty acid has its surface treatment amount of more than 0.4 mass%, and the base polymer and the metal hydroxide treated with the fatty acid are kneaded on such a condition that a kneading finishing temperature exceeds 140°C and 200°C or lower to produce a non-halogen flame-retardant resin composition.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT
