To provide a paste-like silver powder composition capable of forming a silver film (joined layer) which is excellent in coating property and has heat dissipation and joinability by heating at comparative low temperature.SOLUTION: A paste-like silver powder composition contains silver powder, a polymer dispersion agent having a nitrogen atom or a phosphor atom in the molecule, and at least one solvent selected from the group consisting of diols and carbitol acetates, where in the silver powder, as for each detection amount of CHOions and CHOions which are measured by a time-of-flight secondary ion mass spectrometry, with respect to a detection amount of Agions, the detection amount of the CHOions is in a range of 0.2 times or more and 1.0 times or less and a detection amount of the CHOions is in a range of 0.005 times or more and 0.02 times or less, the polymer dispersion agent has a peak top molecular weight measured by gel filtration chromatography in a range of 1,500 or more and 15,000 or less, and a content of the polymer dispersion agent is in a range of 1 mass% or more and 5 mass% or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
