The method for automatically selecting a typhoon center using a vector calculated from radar image data using an optical flow method includes: calculating an effective vector field from radar image data using an optical flow method; Generating a densely spaced vector field by interpolating a vector blank region of the effective vector field using a linear interpolation method; Extracting a rotational component anomaly vector field consisting of the rotational component anomaly vectors of the typhoon by removing the relative vector from the interpolated effective vector field; Generating a normal vector intersection point of the vector of the extracted rotational component anomaly vector field; And calculating a normal vector maximum density intersection point based on the Gaussian kernel density estimation technique, and finally selecting a typhoon center.
