A method and an apparatus for constructing a record-based map, and a storage medium and device. A case summary is extracted from records of a legal case (S101), a map type corresponding to the case summary is determined, preset items and logical relationships between said preset items, which are needed to construct a map of said map type, are extracted from the records (S103), and the map of the map type is constructed using the preset items and the logical relationships. The map type at least comprises a record view that uses questioned persons as a dimension structure, and the record view of any questioned person comprises the preset items in the record of the questioned person, i.e. the information in the records is converted into a map. Therefore, only the preset items need to be set up in advance, and it is possible to display the key information in the records in the form of a map, which simplifies the amount of information and thereby increases the efficiency with which personnel can search records.
