The surgical hub is disclosed. The surgical hub includes a processor and memory coupled to the processor. The memory receives the image data from the image sensor, generates a first image based on the image data, displays the first image on a surgical hub display coupled to the processor, and locates the surgical device. To receive the indicated signal from a non-contact sensor, generate a second image based on the signal indicating the location of the surgical device, and display the second image on a surgical hub display coupled to the processor. It remembers the instructions that can be executed by the processor.
