To provide a manufacturing method of an atomization unit having a heating element for atomizing an aerosol source without being accompanied by combustion.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of an atomization unit includes step A for forming an oxide film on a surface of a heating element by supplying power to the heating element in a state that the heating element constituting part of an atomization unit 111 for atomizing an aerosol source is processed into a heater shape.
