PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network monitor capable of swiftly determining success of remote operation on a network.SOLUTION: The network monitor comprises: an identification part configured to identify a head packet for transmitting a response relevant to a remote operation in a packet captured on a network; an extraction part for extracting the entire size of the response from the head packet; a calculation part for calculating the area size which is allotted for the response in the head packet; and a determination part configured to determine the success of the remote operation on the basis of the entire size and the area size.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 15A
