An angle fitting (201), in particular for mounting suspended furniture, comprises a plate-shaped portion (202) on which at least one opening (203, 216) for a fastening means (215) is recessed, wherein the opening (203, 216) at least one horizontal aligned slot (208, 209, 211, 212) connected to each other via a connecting portion (210, 213, 214) with a widening for passing a widened head of the fastening means (215), wherein the connecting portion (210, 213, 214 ) opens substantially centrally of the slots (208, 209, 211, 212). This allows the hanging furniture to be easily positioned and mounted.
