The present invention relates to a method that allows the storage, transport and delivery of fungal propagules in a polymer matrix corresponding to microfibres or nanofibres that completely or partially encapsulate infectious propagules between fibrous sheets or have same adhered to the surface thereof, obtaining a biohybrid material (fibre + fungus) that allows cell units of certain fungi to be incorporated into fibres, as it is understood that previous embodiments (which allow the incorporation of chemical substances) are not suitable for this specific group of microorganisms. The method has applications in various inoculation strategies in the fields of agriculture, horticulture, silviculture, ecological remediation and related areas.
