The object of the present invention is a cleaning system, in particular for a milking cluster, comprising a basket (1) with a base (7) and with a circumferential structure, the said basket (1) receiving an object to be cleaned, wherein the basket (1) circumferential structure has a plurality of cleaning nozzles (2, 3, 4) arranged thereon, which are directed towards the inside of the basket (1) and fluidly connected with the source of a cleaning agent. The object of the present invention is also a cleaning method, in particular for a milking cluster, performed in this cleaning system.
