The present invention provides a combination of primers and probes for performing quantitative PCR that can be used to determine the methylation status and level of the BMP3 gene and NDRG4 gene in a patient in need of determination of the methylation status and level of the BMP3 gene and NDRG4 gene. It is surprisingly for diagnosing the presence or absence of colorectal cancer (CRC) and/or advanced adenoma (AA) in patients in need of diagnosis of the presence or absence of colorectal cancer (CRC) and/or advanced adenoma (AA).
