To provide a production line configuration change system that maximizes production quantity by speedily re-constructing a production line even in a case where a failure or the like occurs in the production line or in the case where a change to the design of a product occurs.SOLUTION: A production line configuration change system comprises: a failure information storage unit 41 that stores information about a failure occurred in a facility of a production line; a work information storage unit 44 that stores the content of a work required for production of a product; a facility information storage unit 45 that stores restriction information of a tool that can be attached to the facility; a production line configuration information storage unit 47 that stores the work content in a production process, a work assigning facility, the tool attached to the facility, and a process tact time; and a production line configuration calculating unit 36 that is started right after the occurrence of a failure, makes a change plan in which a work assigned to a facility in which a failure occurred is assigned to a facility of pre-and-post processes or assigned to another facility used for the same process, and calculates a provisional production line configuration.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
